Beauty Encounter Launches Website Redesign and Holiday Gift Guide

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Nov. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Beauty Encounter (www.beautyencounter.com), a leading online retailer featuring all things beauty and specializing in hard-to-find niche products, has just launched a new website redesign as well as a number of new features which will all add to an easy holiday shopping season. Featuring a new design concept which eases shopping and product browsing, the site has been well received by their customers. Customers have also been receptive to the newly lowered threshold for free everyday shipping of $60 or more. In addition to the website redesign, Beauty Encounter has also launched their annual holiday gift guide, "be gifted," for easy and convenient holiday shopping.

The "be gifted" guide is a comprehensive list which lays out all the most popular products that are best fitting for the upcoming holiday season. Gifts choices have been carefully picked and have been bunched together under categories that are easy to navigate including: men's colognes, women's perfumes, top gifts, gift sets for men and women, stocking stuffers, and much more. The guide has proven to be a great tool in gifting this season with customers able to browse through a wide range of fantastic and relevant product ideas.

Along with the guide, other newly added features to the site from the redesign include the following: Updated free shipping threshold which offers free US domestic shipping on all orders of $60 or more; Deals of the Week and Hot Deals features which highlights products with prices that have just been lowered; Gifts with Purchase where customers can redeem free products from top brands with qualifying purchases.

Features which have seen popularity with the launch are Deals of the Week and Hot Deals. The two category sections feature the best deals for the season's most in demand products. Products highlighted in these categories are trending and shown to be favored by BE shoppers. The response to the launch of both Deals of the Week and Hot Deals have been great as the listed prices are guaranteed to be the lowest available on the internet. The deals, however, do not last long and shoppers have been eager to take advantage of the low costs with many starting their holiday shopping early to snatch up the great deals.

"We have been grateful for all the positive feedback we have received so far. The customers are enjoying the launch of the Deals of the Week and Hot Deals feature as well as the gift guide," says Jacquelyn Tran, President and CEO of Beauty Encounter. Migrating Real Time Communications Services to the Web

In the Internet age, businesses that own fixed and mobile communication networks, including traditional Communications Service Providers (CSPs) of all kinds, are being challenged with some tough questions: How do we stay relevant to our customers?

Delivering Enterprise-Class Communications with WebRTC

WebRTC Report Extract Reprint

This document examines the growing important of WebRTC, both generally and for telecom service providers. It considers the expanding range of use-cases, the multiple layers of interoperability likely to be desired by telcos, and some implications in terms of network integration and mobility.

Robust Enterprise Grade WebRTC Systems and Services

The emerging WebRTC standard has become one of the industry's hottest topics – and with good reason. Being able to "communications enable the web" has Communications Service Providers as well as Enterprises busily making plans for deployment. But, as these plans unfold, reality is starting to intrude on those plans. Our expectations of telephony services are much higher than web browsing. We expect the phone to connect instantly, operate with minimal disruption, and work seamless across any network, anywhere, at any time. There is also an understanding that phone service is inherently secure. With WebRTC, the expectation is for these applications to behave in the same manner.

This session looks at the user experience and expectations of a WebRTC Enterprise service. It will also cover how a WebRTC enterprise handles security, reliability, and interoperability within browsers and networks.

The Oracle Communications WebRTC Session Controller enables communications service providers (CSPs) and enterprises to offer WebRTC services – from virtually any device, across virtually any network – with carrier-grade reliability and security.
