Satori Software Acquires Monticello Software Incorporated and Full Suite of Post-Presort Software

(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SEATTLE, WA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/05/12 -- Satori Software today announced that it has acquired Monticello Software Incorporated and its full suite of post-presort software. The acquisition further enhances the Satori Software line of products into a complete solution set for data quality, presort and post-presort optimization, tracking and dynamic entry planning.

"All of us at Monticello Software are excited to become a part of the Satori team. And, it's great news for our customers as well," said Joe Bailey, president of Monticello Software. "We'll continue to provide high-quality software products and excellent customer support, but now our customers gain the ability to tap into the vast mailing knowledge and resources Satori Software has to offer." Monticello post-presort software provides mailers with the ability to edit and consolidate Mail.dat® files for postal acceptance and payment through PostalOne!®. Use of the software will provide more accurate information for drop ship dates, entry-point assignments, piece attributes and container status. Submitting documentation electronically through PostalOne! is a key requirement for qualifying for Full-Service Intelligent Mail® discounts and benefits.

"As the only company in the industry that provides both presort and post-presort solutions, customers can look to us for advanced technology and unwavering support in their efforts to optimize postage discounts and transportation planning of mail," said Corey Smith, vice president, Production Mail Solutions, Satori Software. "With Full-Service Intelligent Mail required in 2014, mailers gain a distinct advantage when they use our solution set to fulfill all aspects of Intelligent Mail." "This acquisition builds on the recent purchase of the Postalsoft Presort software and supports our vision to deliver extensive solutions that create more value for customers," said Dale Garrett, president of Satori Software. "This further reinforces our commitment to invest resources in the mailing industry. Mailers can now look to a single source to meet their mailing software needs and be confident that both presort and post-presort components will work together seamlessly." Robust Enterprise Grade WebRTC Systems and Services

The emerging WebRTC standard has become one of the industry's hottest topics – and with good reason. Being able to "communications enable the web" has Communications Service Providers as well as Enterprises busily making plans for deployment. But, as these plans unfold, reality is starting to intrude on those plans. Our expectations of telephony services are much higher than web browsing. We expect the phone to connect instantly, operate with minimal disruption, and work seamless across any network, anywhere, at any time. There is also an understanding that phone service is inherently secure. With WebRTC, the expectation is for these applications to behave in the same manner.

This session looks at the user experience and expectations of a WebRTC Enterprise service. It will also cover how a WebRTC enterprise handles security, reliability, and interoperability within browsers and networks.
