Anittel Utilizes LabTech Software for Remote Monitoring and Management [Manufacturing Close - Up]

(Manufacturing Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) LabTech Software, a remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform developed by a managed service provider (MSP) for managed service providers, announced Anittel, an Australian national IT and telecommunications services company, has chosen LabTech Software as their RMM platform of choice.

According to a release, the exclusive agreement supplies Anittel with the ability to remotely support the technology and connectivity services it provides to organizations across regional and metropolitan Australia.

LabTech's automated management provides Anittel's 17 office locations and 210 employees nationwide with increased efficiency, added flexibility and enhanced integration with its other service and business management platforms. LabTech supplies an arsenal of IT management tools in a single interface, such as desktop, monitoring, trouble ticket tracking, user information, and software management.

"We serve a diverse range of users including corporate, education, health, finance, government, utilities and not-for- profit, which requires a sophisticated and flexible platform that can scale as we do," said Rob Pickering, National Engineering Manager of Anittel Group Ltd. "Choosing to competitively upgrade to the LabTech platform enables us to provide ideal support and management of our tier-one IT solutions including hardware and software, telecommunications, internet and networking, and cloud services. We understand migrating off an existing RMM tool is an important business decision, and LabTech made that choice an easy one for us." "It speaks volumes that a company with such regional influence has chosen LabTech to monitor and manage its clients' massive infrastructures, multimillion-dollar IT deployments, and mission- critical systems," said Matt Nachtrab, LabTech Software CEO. "We are proud of LabTech's business growth in Australia and around the world, and of providing IT businesses with ways to deliver superior managed services. We're looking forward to a long lasting partnership with Anittel." Robust Enterprise Grade WebRTC Systems and Services

The emerging WebRTC standard has become one of the industry's hottest topics – and with good reason. Being able to "communications enable the web" has Communications Service Providers as well as Enterprises busily making plans for deployment. But, as these plans unfold, reality is starting to intrude on those plans. Our expectations of telephony services are much higher than web browsing. We expect the phone to connect instantly, operate with minimal disruption, and work seamless across any network, anywhere, at any time. There is also an understanding that phone service is inherently secure. With WebRTC, the expectation is for these applications to behave in the same manner.

This session looks at the user experience and expectations of a WebRTC Enterprise service. It will also cover how a WebRTC enterprise handles security, reliability, and interoperability within browsers and networks.

ORACLE COMMUNICATIONS WEBRTC SESSION CONTROLLER SOLUTION

Communication Service Provider (CSP) voice service revenues continue to face pressure due to shifts in communication preferences and competition from non-traditional service providers. Voice communications are now often embedded into applications outside the domain of traditional telephony voice usage. CSPs have been challenged to effectively leverage and monetize new web-oriented communications technologies.
