Hot Stock: Clearwire, Shares Gain 7.4% (CLWR)

Jan 09, 2013 (SmarTrend(R) Spotlight via COMTEX) -- Clearwire (NASDAQ:CLWR) is one of today's best performing low-priced stocks, up 7.4% to $3.14 on 2.4x average daily volume. Clearwire has traded 65.2 million shares thus far today, vs. average volume of 27.2 million shares per day. The stock has outperformed the Dow (7.4% to the Dow's 0.6%) and outperformed the S&P 500 (7.4% to the S&P's 0.4%) during today's trading.

Based on a current price of $3.13, Clearwire is currently 18.7% above its average consensus analyst price target of $2.55. The stock should find initial support at its 50-day moving average (MA) of $2.47 and further support at its 200-day MA of $1.74.

Clearwire share prices have moved between a 52-week high of $3.40 and a 52-week low of $0.83 and are now trading 278% above that low price at $3.13 per share. Over the past week, the 200-day moving average (MA) has gone up 0.4% while the 50-day MA has advanced 2.5%.

Clearwire Corporation provides wireless broadband services. The Company operates a wireless network in the United States as well as other countries.
