Market Maker Surveillance Report. PFE, C, GE, PGR, T, S, Highest Net Sell Volume and Negative Price Friction For Friday, January 11th 2013

Jan 14, 2013 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 3992 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2713 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2542 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Friday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. Pfizer Inc (NYSE:PFE), Citigroup Inc (NYSE:C), General Electric Co (NYSE:GE), Progressive Corp (NYSE:PGR), AT&T Inc (NYSE:T), Sprint Nextel Corp (NYSE:S). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below: Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction PFE $-0.260 -0.97% 6,734,097 24.21% 10,723,444 38.55% -3,989,347 -153,436 C $-0.490 -1.14% 12,592,111 29.63% 15,611,475 36.73% -3,019,364 -61,620 GE $-0.060 -0.28% 8,261,152 19.75% 24,691,223 59.04% -16,430,071 -2,738,345 PGR $-0.040 -0.18% 528,395 5.09% 9,055,125 87.31% -8,526,730 -2,131,683 T $-0.050 -0.15% 6,199,981 22.90% 10,470,602 38.67% -4,270,621 -854,124 S $-0.030 -0.51% 13,735,160 20.44% 26,747,481 39.79% -13,012,321 -4,337,440 Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows PFE down $-0.26000 with a Friction Factor of -153,436 and a Net Volume of -3,989,347. That means that it takes 153,436 more shares of selling than buying to drop PFE by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).

Robust Enterprise Grade WebRTC Systems and Services

The emerging WebRTC standard has become one of the industry's hottest topics – and with good reason. Being able to "communications enable the web" has Communications Service Providers as well as Enterprises busily making plans for deployment. But, as these plans unfold, reality is starting to intrude on those plans. Our expectations of telephony services are much higher than web browsing. We expect the phone to connect instantly, operate with minimal disruption, and work seamless across any network, anywhere, at any time. There is also an understanding that phone service is inherently secure. With WebRTC, the expectation is for these applications to behave in the same manner.

This session looks at the user experience and expectations of a WebRTC Enterprise service. It will also cover how a WebRTC enterprise handles security, reliability, and interoperability within browsers and networks.
