Everything Voice Adopts Unify Circuit UC
It may sound counter-intuitive, but even unified communications (UC) service providers sometimes need to collaborate with third parties to bring communications to their own employees. A recent example involves Everything Voice, a small- and medium-size business UC provider that just adopted the Unify Circuit communications package to serve its employees.
This means that, through Circuit, Everything Voice agents will have voice, video, presence, instant messaging, and a number of mobility features at their fingertips. These tools will come through a single platform that can work on multiple devices in any location. Unify points out that Everything Voice employees often work from the road or from home, so their need for a fluid UC platform is among the highest in any market.
Diane Salvatora, the senior vice president of Circuit at Unify, commented that her company's initial feedback from those employees has reinforced the idea that Circuit is a great fit.
“Circuit has been developed with the anywhere worker in mind, and it takes into account the way people want to work,” Salvatora said. “Everything Voice's experience with Circuit has been echoed in the feedback we're constantly receiving from our customer base. It's offering a compelling solution through which employees can seamlessly connect, in real time, to drive collaboration and better communication into their companies.”
Circuit operates in the cloud through a software-as-a-service model as a WebRTC-based application. This means that installation comes easily to Unify's clients and that functionality within the application comes directly through modern Web browsers. Through either native support or plug-ins, users can simply open their browsers to reveal the communications application inside. In this way, it does not lock employees into any supporting software or hardware. As long as the device runs a browser—and most do—it has the potential to connect to Circuit and utilize all the features listed above.
Neil Hutchinson, the director of business development at Everything Voice, pointed out that his employees are finding new ways to work and improve the ways in which they mesh work with their personal lives. He also indicated that it is already showing results in the manner that employees connect with clients. It has eliminated siloed working practices while opening dynamic collaboration for a better experience both inside and outside the office.
