TMC to Co-sponsor Upcoming WebRTC Conference

A number of marketing media and communications companies recently released their joint announcement of an upcoming WebRTC conference that will take place in Beijing this November.

TMC is among the group of hosts that also includes Systemwide Media, PKE Consulting, and Agora Lab, all who will organize scheduling of presenters and organization of sponsors for the Real Time Web Solutions Conference on Nov. 10-11. At this time, registration for attendees has not yet been announced, but interested brands can visit the main conference website or contact any of the above companies for more information about how to sponsor or present.

Phil Edholm, a representative for PKE Consulting, provided the comment that many companies are developing new products that utilize WebRTC and that such investment is expanding the market.

“WebRTC deployments are growing and companies are stepping up to provide innovative products and services to support this trend,” Edholm said. “We are excited to announce the Real Time Web Solutions Conference in China and we look forward to learning from global RTC leaders.”

The conference website lists big names such as AT&T, Temasys, and Tokbox as some of the brands that supported the recent WebRTC Conference and Expo that took place in Miami. It is likely that both events will have a similar focus and structure, and that could bring together similar names as event sponsors.

Regarding the field of WebRTC as a whole, this year started off big. A Frost & Sullivan report predicted that WebRTC would bring video conferencing to small and medium size businesses (SMB) as well as the education sector. Furthermore, a separate report posted at Research and Markets predicted in July that the in-app communications segment of the WebRTC and cloud-based real-time communications market would grow to $4.3 billion by 2019—a compound annual growth rate of 57 percent between 2015 and 2019.

All these topics, and more, make themselves fodder for individual speeches and corporate segments in Beijing. Interested parties can keep an eye on the website for more information about how to register and which brands will make a showing.
